RED is looking for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about delivering products that customers love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams and industry partners to design and roll-out deliverables in support of the company’s vision and strategy.
* Gain a deep understanding of customer needs, competing products and broader technology trends in our market
* Develop and execute a product strategy with a focus on the entire lifecycle of new and existing products
* Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
* Define hardware and software solutions in support of RED customers, including custom product development for related industries
* Manage customer relationships and lifecycle of customized products outside of RED's standard commercial offering
* Create business recommendations and execute based on environmental factors
* Interface with partners to define roadmap for RED’s custom and principal products
* Collaborate with Project Managers to maintain feature roadmap
* Design, conduct, and report on usability testing performed by key customers and focus groups
* Collaborate with Marketing to create promotional plans that are consistent with the product line strategy
* Facilitate product meetings to set priority, make complex decisions, and assess potential risk
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant field of study (MBA preferred)
* 7+ years of professional experience in a Program or Product Management role (experience in both Program and Product Management disciplines is preferred)
* Hands-on experience and deep knowledge of project management methodologies and master data management concepts preferably in the consumer electronics industry
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project
* Strong track record in developing and delivering product plans, technical requirements and process design/optimization
* Demonstrated ability to think globally/creatively, turn information into effective strategies and drive results
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
* Inquisitive and able to efficiently obtain understanding of complex tasks and business strategies while satisfying project objectives
* Strong time management skills with collaborative style and strong interpersonal and leadership skills
* Professional or hobbyist experience with still or motion cameras and/or optics and lens design preferred
