Vital Link invites middle school, high school and college students to attend the 2015 STEM & the Arts Career Showcase, a collaboration of corporate, education, and non-profit sponsors and exhibitors coming together to create an engaging and interactive career exploration experience emphasizing careers in science, technology, engineering, math (STEM), and the arts. The showcase, to be held in partnership with OC Fair Imaginology, is focused on providing students with opportunities to explore, discover, and connect to their future careers. 

Dates and Times:

  • Friday, April 24th - 9am to 3pm  (OSSC will not be participating this day, but Irvine Valley College Photonics Technology will)
  • Saturday, April 25th - 10am to 5pm
  • Sunday, April 26th - 10am to 5pm

Cost: Please contact Vital Link for Cost to attend on Friday, April 24, 2015, April 25-26 Free (Parking at the OC Fair & Event Center is $7.)

  • Vital Link’s hands-on career exploration exhibits (design, engineering, environmental sciences, health sciences, and transportation)
  • Interactive robotics competition featuring student-built robots
  • Alternative fuel vehicles designed by Orange County high school and college student teams for the 2014 UCI Energy Invitational competition
  • Student-designed fashion show hosted by Fashionomics Live!
  • Movement workshop led by Tim Stevenson (choreographer for A-list celebrity musicians)
