 After studying Physics, including
Optical Science, at the University of California, Santa Barbara,
Charles Gaugh has been employed for the past twenty years in the
optical instrumentation and semiconductor Industries as a designer,
product manager and sales manager. He lives in Long Beach with
his wife, a high school teacher, and has a son, daughter and
granddaughter. Actively supporting education, he currently serves
as Secretary of the Long Beach Chapter of the Council for Exceptional
Children. He enjoys backpacking and skiing the Southern
California mountains and sailing the channel islands.
